Brooke Baker

Deputy Executive Director of Acquisition | Head of Contracting Activity

Brooke Baker joined the Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Government Contracting Services (GCS) as the Deputy to the Executive Director of Acquisition and Head of Contracting Activity on June 6, 2022. Brooke has more than 22 years of federal service with 16 years in Government contracting. Her contracting career started in June 2006 with the Department of Defense (DoD), United states Air Force (USAF).

In June 2014 she accepted a position with the Defense Information Systems Agency where she served as a Supervisory Contracting Officer in both Germany and the National Capital region. Her work at the DoD ended in December 2020 when she transitioned to the Executive Office of the President, Office of Administration as the Director of Procurement.  

Brooke is a USAF Veteran, serving in the 319th Security Forces Squadron from 1999-2004. She attended Park University earning a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Social Psychology in 2005, and Webster University earning a Master of Public Administration in 2008. She enjoys spending time with family and friend, loves the beach, boating and traveling.
