Other Hiring and Developmental Programs
- Details & Transfers : A career or career-conditional employee of one agency may transfer, without a break in service of a single workday, to a competitive service position in another agency without competing in a civil service examination open to the public. A transfer eligible may apply under vacancy announcements open to status candidates. An employee may transfer to a position at the same, higher, or lower grade level.
- Intergovernmental Personnel Act (IPA) Mobility Program allows skilled personnel to easily switch between government and non-government institutions, such as accredited universities and non-profit organizations.
- Peace Corps Job Recruitment : Non-competitive eligibility or NCE makes it easier for federal agencies like ACF to hire returned Peace Corps Volunteers who meet the minimum qualifications of a given position.
