CCWIS Status

The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) is reviewing the status of Comprehensive Child Welfare Information System (CCWIS) projects across the country to better understand modernization progress, identify common challenges, and inform future support for state, Tribal, and territorial child welfare agencies. Stakeholders are encouraged to explore the findings of the ASPE report on CCWIS implementation and visit the Child Welfare Technology Incubator (CWTI) for resources, tools, and guidance supporting child welfare technology modernization.
