e-NMSN Software Interface Specification

The electronic National Medical Support Notice (e-NMSN) process allows child support agencies, employers, third-party processors, and plan administrators to electronically exchange NMSNs.

The Software Interface Specification (SIS) includes the flat file record layouts and XML schemas required to use the e-NMSN system. The SIS also includes information about the No Programming Option available and the process for receiving a file containing a portable document format version of the NMSN and returning a PDF response. The SIS is divided into seven separate documents:
