ACF offers funding for a variety of discretionary (competitive) and non-discretionary (mandatory) grant programs. Annually, we award billions of dollars to promote the economic and social well-being of families, children, individuals, and communities. Though we do not provide personal financial assistance, we have a variety of Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) available to support social service programs at the state, local and tribal levels.
Our recipients include both nonprofit and for-profit organizations as well as government, educational, and public housing groups. ACF's wide breadth of programming funds an array of activities that support the economic and social well-being of people throughout the country.
Potential applicants can access ACF Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) and Forecasts/Synopses, apply for funding, and search for archived NOFOs at Grants.gov . To apply for a grant, you must complete the Grants.gov registration process .
