CSBG-DCL-2022-12 Annual Report Updates FY 2021

The Office of Community Services (OCS), Division of Community Assistance (DCA) is providing an update to the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) Annual Reports, including the CSBG CARES and CSBG Disaster Supplemental Annual Reports. For the remainder of this message, “CSBG Annual Reports” refers to the regular CSBG, CARES, and Disaster Supplemental Annual Reports.

FY2020 CSBG Annual Reports Modules 2 and 4 Status Update

As of December 22, 2021, 85 percent of states have submitted Modules 2 and 4 of the Fiscal Year (FY) 2020 CSBG Annual Reports. The Quality Assurance review is currently under way. The Federal Review will begin once the Quality Assurance review is completed. OCS will contact states who have not yet submitted to provide additional technical assistance to help complete their submission.

FY2021 CSBG Annual Reports Updates

The FY 2021 CSBG Annual Reports are due March 31, 2022. There are no changes to the Reports, and they are attached for your convenience. OCS anticipates releasing the FY 2021 SmartForms in mid-January. GrantSolutions.gov will be available for submission in late-January.

GrantSolutions.gov Login

Earlier this month, GrantSolutions announced that Administration for Children and Families (ACF) grant recipients will be required to use Login.gov to access GrantSolutions.gov . This means that as of January 10, 2022, CSBG grant recipients will no longer be able to use their username and password to access CSBG reports. To assist you in this transition, GrantSolutions provided the following instructions to ensure CSBG grant recipients can continue accessing their reports after January 10:

• Already have a Login.gov account?
  • Go to Manage Account at Login.gov
  • Ensure the email address associated with your GrantSolutions account is listed in your Login.gov account
• Do not have a Login.gov account?
  • Create a Login.gov account

Training and Technical Assistance

OCS will release additional guidance in early January to assist CSBG recipients in submitting their FY 2021 CSBG Annual Reports, including the official webinar schedule.
