Dear Colleagues,

The Office of Community Services (OCS) is pleased to announce a new training and technical assistance toolkit and Tribal Check-In Session for LIHWAP Tribal grant recipients.

Successful Practices for LIHWAP Tribal Grantees Toolkit

In the Fall of 2022, the Office of Community Services (OCS) in partnership with Lux Consulting Group interviewed 25 LIHWAP Tribal grant administrators to learn more about their experiences managing LIHWAP funds. The Successful Practices for LIHWAP Tribal Grant Recipients Toolikt captures success strategies shared both in those interviews as well as in more recent conversations with LIHWAP Tribal grant recipients. We are sharing these experiences and suggestions to guide your LIHWAP program implementation and support spend down.

The Successful Practices for LIHWAP Tribal Grant Recipients toolkit includes the following resources:

Tribal Check-In Session

The Tribal Check-In Session will give LIHWAP Tribal grant recipients an opportunity to hear LIHWAP program updates and ask questions about the successful practices shared in the toolkit, spend down, and general grant administration questions. The Check-In will be held on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at 3:00pm EDT. Please register by clicking on the session link below.

Please contact your LIHWAP program specialist with any questions about this communication or the LIHWAP spend down process.

Thank you for your attention to these matters. OCS looks forward to continuing to provide high-quality services to OCS partners.
