Dear Colleagues,

OCS would like to invite you to participate in the Emergency Rental Assistance Program Webinar for ACF Grantees hosted by the Department of Treasury and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. We encourage you to invite your ACF grantees to participate in a meeting on the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERA).

Please see the message below from the Department of Treasury in regards to this new event.

“An underlying consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic is that household stability is not just a financial security issue, but also a health concern. As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has made it difficult for renters and landlords to cover housing costs. Many renters are worried about catching up on past-due rent and facing eviction. Applying to the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) program can help with paying rent, utility bills, and even moving costs which would provide much relief.

We know ACF grantees serve many of the families most in need. That is why ACF is partnering with Treasury and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to provide this training and informational materials to assist in reaching communities and families in need of rental and housing assistance.

We ask for your support by sharing and promoting this invitation with your colleagues so they may learn about these valuable resources.

This meeting will be held on Thursday, October 21 from 1:00-2:00 PM ET.
