SSBG FY 2026 2nd and 3rd Quarter Allocation Updates

Dear Colleague:

The Office of Community Services announces the second and third quarters funding release for the Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) and Consolidated Block Grant (CBG) for fiscal year 2026 (FY 2026).

SSBG-eligible grant recipients include all U.S. states; Washington, D.C.; Puerto Rico; the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind; and the following U.S. territories under the CBG: American Samoa, the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Funds in this release are available for SSBG/CBG grant recipients with complete, accepted plans. Drawdown restrictions are on those few grant recipients with incomplete or unsubmitted application packages for FY 2026.

Attached is an SSBG allocation chart detailing each grant recipient’s allotment. SSBG and CBG awards are disbursed in accordance with provisions set in Title XX of the Social Security Act, as amended.
