Dear Colleagues:
The Office of Community Services (OCS) is pleased to announce an upcoming Intended Use Plan (IUP) and Pre-Expenditure virtual webinar for the Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) and the Consolidated Block Grant (CBG) programs for the federal fiscal year 2025.
Grant Recipients receiving SSBG funds are required to submit an annual IUP and Pre-Expenditure at the beginning of the state or federal fiscal year. This report details the intended expenditures (use) of SSBG funds across 29 pre-defined service categories during the fiscal year, including the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) transfer, and the individuals served. This data is crucial for informing budget decisions and national policymaking.
To support you in this process, OCS, Division of Social Services (DSS) will host a virtual training webinar on Thursday, June 27, 2024 (2:30pm-3:30pm ET). During the webinar, DSS staff will provide an overview of the Post-Expenditure Report form and address live audience questions.
The webinar session will be recorded and made available along with presentation slides, in the ’Resources’ section of the SSBG Portal . There is no pre-registration for this webinar.
