Post-Disaster Housing Fact Sheet
One of ACF's new resources is a fact sheet that provides information on four programs whose funding may be used to provide post-disaster housing. It's one of several fact sheets ACF has put together in a single toolkit to improve outreach to prospective participants and communities about the variety of assistance programs and resources available.
Winter can mean dangerously cold temperatures for many. Some households have to choose between paying for home heating or paying for family essentials, such as food or medical care. The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) can help keep the heat on!
State and territory human services and emergency management partners can find training and resources on the Repatriation Technical Assistance Center (TAC) website. The site also supports OHSEPR’s efforts to build a community of practice for emergency and routine repatriation partners.
SAMHSA’s Disaster Distress Helpline provides 24/7, 365-day-a-year crisis counseling and support to people experiencing emotional distress related to natural or human-caused disasters.
