Amanda Barlow

Amanda Barlow is the director of the Office of Legislative Affairs and Budget (OLAB).
Barlow has been with ACF since 1994, when she joined as a presidential management intern, and then as budget analyst. She became the director of budget within OLAB in 2009 and the director of OLAB in 2017. She has served in an acting capacity for several of ACF’s executive leadership positions including the acting commissioner for ACYF from January to November 2021, the acting assistant secretary for ACF from February to May 2017 and the acting deputy assistant secretary for administration from December 2015 to October 2016.
Barlow has a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Massachusetts — Amherst, and a bachelor of arts from Kenyon College.
