This study builds on prior rounds of the American Indian and Alaska Native Head Start Family and Child Experiences Survey (AIAN FACES) to explore how Region XI Head Start children, families, and staff were faring during the COVID-19 pandemic.

These infographics draw on data from 47 surveys completed by lead teachers in fall 2021 (between November 2021 and January 2022) and 34 lead teachers in spring 2022 and 14 program directors and 18 center directors (representing 21 centers) in spring 2022 (between April 2022 and July 2022).

More information about the sample and how the data were weighted can be found in the Fall 2021 Data Tables and Study Design Report and Spring 2022 Data Tables and Study Design report.
