The purpose of this brief, as part of the Coparenting and Healthy Relationship and Marriage Education for Dad (CHaRMED) study, is to provide practice-based, contextually relevant strategies that fatherhood programs serving AIAN fathers can use to support their healthy coparenting and romantic relationships.

This brief describes three principles to guide collaborations around data practice. It includes implementation strategies, case studies, and additional resources to support collaboration.

There is little national data about the need for early childhood and health services for American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) children. This brief summarizes existing data to create a national picture of the AI/AN population of young children and their families, and their access to and participation in early childhood services using the 2010—2014 American Community Survey.
