Introduction

This webinar is designed to support CCDF Lead Agency staff and partners in understanding how stakeholder perspectives can be paired with agency data to help answer more policy questions. Learn how the perspectives of the people experiencing or implementing the policies can increase understanding of problems, possible solutions, and community contexts. The webinar covers 1) the “Why, Who, and How” of gathering stakeholder perspectives; 2) presentations about recent experiences working with stakeholders in Illinois, New York, and the District of Columbia; and 3) reactions from a state agency perspective.

This is the third in a series of webinars on Building Your Capacity as a CCDF Lead Agency to Use Data in Policy Decisions, hosted by the Center for Supporting Research on CCDBG Implementation with support from the Office of Planning, Research, and Evaluation.

Purpose

This webinar is designed to support CCDF Lead Agency staff and their partners in pairing stakeholder perspectives with existing data to answer policy questions and gain a better understanding of possible problems, possible solutions, and how community contexts matter in policy choices and outcomes.
