ORR offers funding opportunities to current and new service providers for its Refugee Program Bureau and Unaccompanied Alien Children Bureau. Through ORR funding, a network of vetted organizations nationwide can help eligible arrivals transition to life in the United States.

Refugee Individual Development Accounts (IDA) Program  

ORR seeks public or private non-profit agencies to establish and manage the IDA Program for eligible low-income refugee participants. Through IDA funding, recipient organizations will enroll eligible individuals and refugee households to open and systemically contribute to their IDAs for specific goals, including homeownership, business capitalization, vehicles for educational or work purposes, professional certification, and education. Recipient organizations will be able to use ORR funds to provide matches for the savings in the IDAs of up to $3,000 per individual refugee and $6,000 per refugee household.

Refugee Agricultural Partnership Program (RAPP)

ORR seeks non-federal public and private organizations to implement RAPP. Through RAPP funding, grant recipients encourage the development of agricultural and food systems services that will improve the livelihoods—physically, economically, and psychosociallyof refugee families resettled in the United States. Eligible recipients will provide refugees and other ORR-eligible populations access to land, agricultural training, and technical assistance with a focus on farming production, nutrition, and health.

Wilson-Fish TANF Program (WF TCP)

ORR seeks applications to develop and implement projects that will address service gaps in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) and other state-funded or federally-funded programs available to ORR-eligible families. Through WF TCP funding, recipients will provide in-person and remote services to address the unmet needs of these families as they pursue self-sufficiency, community integration, and social adjustment.

Call for Grant Reviewers

ORR has contracted with F2 Solutions to provide management support for grant application reviews. Qualified individuals—both federal and non-federal—are needed to review ORR discretionary grant applications (non-federal reviewers are eligible for a $1,500 honorarium). Candidates should have considerable expertise in areas related to serving ORR targeted populations such as social work, case management, employment services, community development, and/or program-specific expertise.
