| The UACOO is an independent, confidential, and impartial entity. It provides a mechanism for unaccompanied alien children, their families and/or sponsors, care providers, legal and other service providers, child advocates, and other stakeholders to raise concerns, including anonymously, relating to ORR’s implementation of its unaccompanied alien children program. The UACOO works to resolve concerns and may do so by conducting investigations or taking other actions, including working collaboratively with ORR. More on UACOO roles and services here. |
