Federal forecast synopses and full competitive Notices of Funding Opportunities (NOFO) are posted on www.Grants.gov.
The Administration for Children and Families (ACF) issues funding based on HHS grants policy (PDF) and evaluation criteria outlined in the notice of funding opportunity on Grants.gov. A key component of the funding process is the comprehensive review of each application by a merit review panel composed of independent subject matter experts. Reviewers are carefully selected and screened to ensure they have no conflicts of interest, thereby maintaining the integrity of the evaluation process. Using established criteria, they assess each submission and provide objective evaluations that assist ACF in making funding decisions.
