Reminder: the next PARIS match is scheduled for May 18, 2026.
- You may submit files beginning Monday, May 4, 2026.
- Files must be submitted by COB May 18, 2026 to be included in the match.
- Any match submission files received after May 18, 2026 will not be processed.
The Do Not Pay PARIS technical support team will send an email confirmation to each state for receipt of the file, file size, and date received. If you have not received your notification but submitted your file, please notify both ACF (PARIS@ACF.HHS.GOV) and Do Not Pay (paristechnicalsupport@stls.frb.org).
Death Match
- New this match, states will by default receive match results against death data sources from Do Not Pay in a separate file from the interstate match results. These death sources include the Death Master File, fulfilling state HR 1 requirements to identify deceased Medicaid enrollees at least quarterly starting no later than January 1, 2027.
- Death matches are the first part of an expanded eligibility file, previously referred to as the “PARIS DNP” file. Over time, the expanded eligibility file will incorporate other data sources outlined in the PARIS-DNP-SPAA MOA.
- You can opt-out of the death match. If your state does not want to receive death match results, opt-out by notifying PARIS@acf.hhs.gov.
- The death match results will be transmitted to your state roughly two weeks after the delivery of the May 2026 PARIS interstate match results under the file name “<State Abbreviation>EligResp”.
- Reach out to the PARIS Technical Support Team (paristechnicalsupport@stls.frb.org) with questions on the expanded eligibility file format and technical specifications.
Veteran’s Match
The return of the veteran’s match is not yet finalized. We are working on remaining federal requirements with the potential of offering an off-cycle match for interested states in June.
