In support of ACF’s mission and strategic plan, ACF has developed a set of materials intended for specific subgroups of program participants, prospective participants, and their communities to help them understand the array of programs and resources that may be able to assist them. These one- to two-page overviews are available below. 

Who should use these materials?

Many families, individuals, and communities may not know about the full range of services and resources that are available to and could benefit them. These materials can help them find and access helpful supports tailored to their particular situation.

This one-page guide describes several programs funded by ACF and other federal government agencies that may be available to families with children between the ages of 0 and 12 years old, including links to learn more about eligibility requirements and how to apply.

Fathers looking for benefits programs

Fathers looking for parenting tips

This one-page guide compiles top educational resources and tips from the National Responsible Fatherhood Clearinghouse  to help dads take care of themselves, foster healthy relationships, identify activities to do with their kids, and more.

Prospective Head Start participants

This flyer provides an overview of the Head Start program and its offered services, as well as information on how to determine eligibility and locate a nearby center. An editable version of this flyer offers Head Start programs the ability to customize the flyer with information specific to their program, including name, address, hours, and logo.

Survivors of domestic violence looking to find and keep housing

This two-page guide describes resources available to domestic violence survivors who need help finding or paying for housing, covering other household costs, or receiving legal assistance to avoid eviction, or are experiencing stigma, discrimination, or sexual harassment related to housing.

Transition-age youth exiting foster care
